We have sponsored and initiated programs and provided gifts through membership fees and fundraising for the past thirty-five years. Advocacy has been crucial throughout the Friends’ history. Early on we were an articulate voice at School Board budget meetings and, in the late eighties, we provided much of the energy and leadership crucial to the passing of the bond issue that made the current library possible. Learn More Mission Statement We are committed to aiding the public library’s programs, staff, and facilities. As a non-profit community group, our aim is to offer financial support and volunteer services that the library might not be able to furnish on its own. Our Library Friends Speak! Friends of the Library turned our local library into a welcoming haven. Their passion for reading, vibrant events, and sense of belonging make this group truly special.
